Back to the Future (Vienna Part II)

So it was a quick ‘spare weekend’ decision to head back over to Vienna to revisit a place that was the source of a great deal of surprise the last time we visited. This time, however it was more about a relaxing getaway to see some of the places we hadn’t yet checked off and also to visit the getaway pad just out of Vienna in a cosy little town called Ollersbach. It was also really lovely to drive through the small towns were Bee’s Opa grew up, getting a personalised tour of the birth house, school, bakeries where he later worked and of course his parent’s house.

Other than heading to the classical music opera (Vienna Konzerthaus) and the Naschmarkt (scrumptious nibbles market), the food and company of Bee’s Oma and Opa was the obvious highlight. Foot square schnitzels and cordon bleus in addition to the Charade translate is always a laugh yet extremely welcoming.
